Northridge, CA – Thursday, The Resistance – Northridge, Indivisible, in coordination with several other local resistance groups, will hold a voter registration/education & fundraiser in lieu of the originally schedule GOP and Pence Fundraiser Protest.

Seems like public pressure of planned protests has scared Mike Pence and the GOP away although they’re stating that it’s because of the hurricanes. Our intel says that all fundraisers in California will be rescheduled for October. We will be back. We will hold them accountable anytime they come to Los Angeles. We will still be there tonight at the Electric Fountain for anyone who is interested in taking a more active role in civic engagement. Please join us! The Resistance, Northridge, Indivisible (TRN) is proud to partner with The Women's March LA, The Women's March LA Foundation, Indivisible, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), Code Blue, Black Lives Matter, Register Blue, Civic Sunday's & Move On for a voter registration drive and fundraising event on Thursday, September 14th at the Electric Fountain located across the street from The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, CA!

With Congressional Republicans’ current administrations ‘Voter Purge’ agenda, it is more important than ever to engage in voter registration and voter education. Voting rights advocates are increasingly anxious regarding these disturbing challenges to the rights of minorities and women. Women’s March LA Foundation has joined with major voter registration organizations to lend their name and numbers to the push to register voters for upcoming elections and voter education. Join us for this evening of voter registration, education, and awareness- meet new groups to become involved with, organize with, and have some free pizza. *Special guest appearance by Chicken Don.

The Resistance - Northridge, Indivisible, is a volunteer group of progressive Democrats in Northridge (Los Angeles) who are working together to drive political change starting at the local level. We stand for inclusivity, equality, freedom, and opportunity for everyone. We believe change starts municipally by building relationships with constituents to increase voter turnout in every election, especially in your community. Welcome to The Resistance Parking: Parking restrictions before 6 (1--2-hour parking during the workday) no restrictions after 6, during weekdays. We looked at some residential streets N, of Wilshire, such as Walden (2 hour before 6), Linden (1 hour before 6) Roxbury (no parking 8-5). Therefore, no limitations after 6 on many of the streets. There is also a 2 story lot that runs a few blocks between Santa Monica and Little Santa Monica, has paid parking before 6 and free parking after 6. You may also want to consider carpooling or using a service like Lyft or Uber.
