Bet on yourself

We all know that you have to spend money to make money. You wouldn’t show up to an important interview in worn-out clothes, right? You’d buy a new outfit, because looking your best could help you land the job. It’s just common sense: Investing in yourself is worth it.

It’s the same of our country too: Americans have the best chance at success when we invest in ourselves.

And now we can do that when we do big things with our tax dollars, like ensuring children and seniors can get quality, affordable care. That would grow our economy and give families the financial freedom to go after their dreams. After all, that’s what our government is there to do: Provide the resources we need to reach our goals.

To transform our nation for the better, it’s going to take more than just middle aged-white women from California like me, it’s going to take all of us. Because America is at its best when we bet on ourselves.
