Los Angeles, CA - On Tuesday, March 13th, resistance groups from San Diego to Los Angeles will hold multiple protests of President Trump’s visit to California where he will view Border Wall prototypes in San Diego in the morning and attend a fundraiser in Beverly Hills in the evening.

While the site of the Beverly Hills fundraiser is still secret, thousands of protesters will protest Trump and his administration’s policies at 5pm at Beverly Gardens Park, 9439 Santa Monica Blvd at the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. at Beverly Drive. Trump holds the record for the longest period that a president has stayed away from California since his inauguration.

Californians and their representatives in Congress have led the resistance movement, albeit from a distance, since Trump took office with huge crowds at the Women’s March Los Angeles, Science March, Save DACA Demonstrations, March for Peace at Google Venice, Tax March, and rallies protesting Trump’s Travel Ban at LAX.

Despite the success of California's highly regulated, sustainable economy that fosters massive investment and consistently outperforms the nation's economy, the President has not announced any scheduled meetings with state or local officials during his visit.

Resistance groups are expected to emphasize respect for human rights, safe harbor for California’s immigrant community, dedication to preserving our pristine coastline by restricting any offshore drilling plans and highlight the need to protect the ongoing investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
